This privacy notice sets out how we handle information and data provided to us you provide for the purpose of registering for and attending a conference, convention, meeting or other event ( as an "Event") that you are interested in attending as an attendee, speaker or co-organiser.

All data you provide to us (whether in person, through our website, mobile app form or otherwise) or that we hold for the purposes and in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy Privacy Policy, we process in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation, in particular Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data, or as amended by later regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  1. Who is the data controller?

    The controller of your personal data is T.R.I., s.r.o., with registered office at Polní Chrčice 101, 280 02 Kolín, ID No. 25605569 (hereinafter referred to as "T.R.I." or "we").

  2. What personal data do we process? For what purpose and for how long?

    Your personal data (as participants, authors or co-authors of abstracts and speakers at the Event) we process to the extent specified by the services we provide to you or for other processing purposes; and namely:

    • For the purpose of registering for the Event as a participant or author, we process your personal data in gender, address, name, surname, nationality, contact details such as address, telephone, e-mail, date of birth, nationality, titles, educational qualifications, field of activity. At You must first register for the event we are providing. Legal basis for such processing is the performance of a contract to which you are a party. The personal data will be processed for the duration of the of this contractual relationship.
    • In order to comply with the obligations arising from the relevant legislation, such as the accounting or tax law (e.g. for financial and billing purposes), we process your personal data in the following scope: name, surname, address, nationality, telephone, e-mail, method of payment, tax identification number. The processing results from compliance with legal obligations, the fulfilment of which we are subject to. These personal data will be processed for the period of time specified in the specific legal regulation, but no longer than 10 years.
    • In accordance with the provisions of Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information services society, we may contact you by e-mail or telephone to promote our products services, even without your prior consent. However, you have the option of receiving these commercial communications to refuse them at any time. If you do not opt-out, your contacts for electronic communication will be will be processed for the duration of the contractual relationship.
    • In order to ensure the functionality of the registration form on our website, we may process your personal data to the extent of: cookies and other associated technical data. The personal data will be processed and stored for the time necessary to ensure the functionality of the website website functionality (in the order of several days or weeks, if necessary for the duration of the contractual relationship).

  3. Who do we share your personal data with?

    Your personal data may be disclosed to reliable third parties who provide us with administrative or technical support, such as data processors.

    We may also disclose your personal data to payment institutions for the purpose of making payments for items related to the Promotion.

    If required by law, some of your information may be disclosed to government agencies or authorities law enforcement, outside counsel or other personnel bound by confidentiality.

  4. What rights do you have in relation to the processing of personal data?

    If you give us your consent to the processing of your personal data, you do so entirely voluntarily and you have you have the right to withdraw or restrict this consent at any time by sending an email to info@tri.cz.

    Under certain conditions and circumstances, your other rights include: the right to access your personal data, the right to rectification or erasure of personal data, the right to data portability and the right to make a complaint against us, as data controller, to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

  5. How long do we keep your personal data?

    We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing, typically for for the performance of a contractual relationship or for the period explicitly provided for by the relevant legislation. If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, this personal data is processed solely for the duration of your consent, which you may withdraw or restrict at any time. If you do so you do so, we will cease to process the personal data for the purpose for which you provided consent.

  6. Use of photos and videos from Events

    All photographs and videos of the Events that capture you with your knowledge or consent will be used solely for reporting, documentation or, where appropriate, to promote our Company or our partners. You will not be entitled to any remuneration from such use. You may give your consent withdraw your consent at any time, but you will be liable for damages if you do so without good cause, that you incur by withdrawing your consent. If you take photographs or videos in excess of the above the above purposes, we will ask you for specific consent.

  7. What happens if there are changes to the processing of personal data?

    Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be notified to you via agreed communication channels. However, we recommend that you consult this Policy for any changes periodically review this Privacy Policy for any changes.
